Terms and Conditions

These Terms of Use govern your conduct associated with the Customer Ratings and Review service offered by Holland & Barrett (the "CRR Service"). To the extent of any conflict between Holland & Barrett's Privacy Policy and these Terms of Use, these Terms of Use shall control with respect to the CRR Service.

By submitting any content to Holland & Barrett, you represent and warrant that:

• you are the sole author and owner of the intellectual property rights thereto;
• all "moral rights" that you may have in such content have been voluntarily waived by you;
• all content that you post is accurate;
• you are at least 18 years old;
• use of the content you supply does not violate these Terms of Use and will not cause injury to any person or entity.

You further agree and warrant that you shall not submit any content:

• that is known by you to be false, inaccurate or misleading;
• that infringes any third party''s copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary rights or rights of publicity or privacy;
• that violates any law, statute, ordinance or regulation (including, but not limited to, those governing export control, consumer protection, unfair competition, anti-discrimination or false advertising);
• that is, or may reasonably be considered to be, defamatory, libelous, hateful, racially or religiously biased or offensive, unlawfully threatening or unlawfully harassing to any individual, partnership or corporation;
• for which you were compensated or granted any consideration by any third party;
• that includes any information that references other websites, addresses, email addresses, contact information or phone numbers;
• that contains any computer viruses, worms or other potentially damaging computer programs or files.

You agree to indemnify and hold Holland & Barrett (and its officers, directors, agents, subsidiaries, joint ventures, employees and third-party service providers, including but not limited to Bazaarvoice, Inc.), harmless from all claims, demands, and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown including reasonable attorneys'' fees, arising out of a breach of your representations and warranties set forth above, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

For any content that you submit, you grant Holland & Barrett a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable right and license to use, copy, modify, delete in its entirety, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from and/or sell and/or distribute such content and/or incorporate such content into any form, medium or technology throughout the world without compensation to you.

All content that you submit may be used at Holland & Barrett's sole discretion. Holland & Barrett reserves the right to change, condense or delete any content on Holland & Barrett's website that Holland & Barrett deems, in its sole discretion, to violate the content guidelines or any other provision of these Terms of Use. Holland & Barrett does not guarantee that you will have any recourse through Holland & Barrett to edit or delete any content you have submitted. Ratings and written comments are generally posted within two to four business days. However, Holland & Barrett reserves the right to remove or to refuse to post any submission for any reason. You acknowledge that you, not Holland & Barrett, are responsible for the contents of your submission. None of the content that you submit shall be subject to any obligation of confidence on the part of Holland & Barrett, its agents, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners or third party service providers and their respective directors, officers and employees.

By submitting your email address in connection with your rating and review, you agree that Holland & Barrett and its third party service providers may use your email address to contact you about the status of your review and other administrative purposes.

Ratings and reviews left on any of our products are the opinion of Holland & Barrett customers. Holland & Barrett does not endorse these views, nor should they be regarded as health claims or medical advice. All reviews are collected and verified as genuine by a third party called Bazaarvoice.

Ratings & Reviews Prize Draw Terms & Conditions

1. The prize draw runs from 1st of each month to the last day of that month. All entries made before midnight on the last day of each month will be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win £100 Holland & Barrett vouchers to spend online. 

2. To enter, submit a product review online in respect of any  purchase from www.hollandandbarrett.com or any Holland & Barrett store and you will automatically  gain entry into the  prize draw for that month. 

3. Customers must enter a full review to be eligible for the prize draw. This means entering a star rating, review title and review text on the review form. If any of these fields are missing, the review will not be eligible, and the customer will not be entered into the draw.

4. Multiple prize draw entries are allowed per customer in each monthly period. This means that the more ratings and reviews submitted, the more entries will be submitted into that month’s draw.

5. The prize draws are open to all Holland & Barrett customers aged 18 or over, who are UK residents. Holland & Barrett employees are not eligible to enter the prize draws.

6. One winner will be selected at random every month from the eligible entries for each prize draw. Each winner will be contacted on the email address they provided upon entry. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted, or does not comply with these terms and conditions, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant drawn at random.

7. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants and decisions made by the Promoter will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

8. One prize of £100 Holland & Barrett vouchers will be awarded to each prize draw winner. Each prize will be awarded as five £20 vouchers which can be redeemed together or separately. The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative available. If the entire value of a £20 voucher is not used in one transaction, then any balance will be lost, e.g. if a basket value is £18.50, and a £20 prize voucher is applied, then the balance of £1.50 will be lost.  Customers can add other payments to a basket which exceeds £20 or multiples thereof.

9. Vouchers cannot be redeemed against delivery charges. A delivery charge of £3.49 will occur if the basket total falls below the minimum delivery threshold of £30 after the voucher has been applied. Collection from Holland & Barrett stores is free.

10. The Promoter reserves the right to alter, amend or foreclose this prize draw without prior notice.

11. The Promoter will not be responsible for any entries that are not received for any reason, whether lost, delayed or due to any technical difficulties, malfunctions or otherwise, including any failure which is within the control of The Promoter.

12. The prize draw is promoted by Holland & Barrett Retail Limited, Samuel Ryder House, Barling Way, Eliot Park, Nuneaton, Warwickshire, CV10 7RH, England (“The Promoter”). 

13. This prize draw is governed by the laws of England & Wales.

14. The Promoter reserves the right to publish the winner’s name.  The winner may be required to participate in non-paid publicity relating to the prize draw The winners’ names may be obtained by sending a written request to Holland & Barrett Retail Limited, Samuel Ryder House, Barling Way, Eliot Park, Nuneaton, Warwickshire, CV10 7RH.

Prize Draw Terms & Conditions for UK & NI residents: £150 One4all Gift Card

(1) This prize draw is open to all UK residents aged 18 or over. This prize draw is not open to employees of Holland & Barrett International Ltd or any of its subsidiary companies, their families, agents or anyone else connected with this promotion. 

(2). The information you provide will only be used for the purpose of establishing contact with you should you win; at which time we will offer you all the information about redemption of the prize. By entering this prize draw, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.  

(3) To enter you must answer and submit the customer feedback survey ‘Your health & wellness purchasing behaviour’.  

(4)  The start date for all entries is 15^th November 2024 and the closing date & time is 1^st December 2024 at 23.59. Entries received after this time will not be entered into the prize draw. 

(5)    The prize for UK & NI residents: £150 One4all Gift Card. Maximum of one entry per person. No purchase necessary. 

(6) The stated number of winners will be selected from all entries within 10 days of the draw closing. Winner(s) will be selected at random by Holland & Barrett from all valid entries. Holland & Barrett’s decision is final. The Winner will have 10 working days from the date of initial contact by us to respond, confirming compliance with these terms and eligibility to win their prize. If a winner does not respond with appropriate confirmations within the specified timeframe, that winner will be disqualified, and the prize will be offered to a reserve winner selected in a prize draw. Holland & Barrett’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 

(7). Your personal details will at all times be kept confidential and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and General Data Protection Regulation 2018. (8). In the event of unforeseen circumstances, Holland & Barrett reserves the right to substitute a prize of equivalent value should the specified prize become unavailable for reasons beyond its control. Prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. In the event of fraud, abuse, and/or an error affecting the proper operation of the promotion, Holland & Barrett reserves the right to end or suspend the promotion or to amend these terms & conditions. 

(9) The winner(s) may be required to participate in publicity connected with this promotion and it is a condition of entry that the winner(s) agree to their first name and county of residence being made publicly available if they win. 

(10) Holland & Barrett will not be liable for any failure of receipt of entries and takes no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete, or otherwise invalid. 

(11) Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups, third parties, syndicates, macros or other automated means, and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these terms and conditions in full, will be disqualified and will not be counted. If it becomes apparent that a participant is attempting to circumvent this condition to generate additional entries in a way that is not consistent with the spirit of the promotion, that person’s entries will be disqualified, and any prize award will be void. 

(12) If any part of these terms and conditions is held invalid by any law, rule, order, or regulation of any government, or by the final determination of any court of a competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid. 

(13) If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of Holland & Barrett which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, we may in our sole discretion modify, cancel or suspend the draw, and invalidate any affected entries. 

(14) This promotion is governed by English law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
