Dr Lorenzo Masci is a Sports Medicine doctor based in central London. He takes a holistic approach to diagnosing and managing musculoskeletal conditions and works with physiotherapists, podiatrists and personal trainers to plan the right rehabilitation programme.
After graduating from medical school in Australia, he completed a four-year specialist Sports Medicine training program with the Australasian College of Sports and Exercise Physicians and a Masters in Sport Medicine in research at the University of Melbourne.
Since moving to London, he has worked with the British military, in
private practice and sporting organisations such as Fulham Football Club and the Wasps rugby team. He sees common musculoskeletal and sporting injuries and has an interest in ultrasound-guided procedures, including regenerative medicine.
Actively involved in research, Lorenzo has written over 25 peer-reviewed papers and is currently involved in tendon research at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and Imperial University. He also teaches ultrasound-guided interventions to doctors and allied health staff.
