Professor Sanjiv Jari is a Consultant Knee & Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Surgeon based at Salford Royal Hospital (University of Manchester Teaching Hospital). However, he also operates at some of the leading private hospitals in Manchester.
He is an Honorary Senior Lecturer in Orthopaedic & Trauma Surgery at the University of Manchester and a Professor in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Bolton.
Professor Jari works with many professional and elite sports teams and players to treat various injuries, especially around the knee. His practice entails both sports injury management and osteoarthritis of the knee treatments, such as the technologically advanced MAKO robotic-assisted knee replacement surgery.
In fact, Professor Jari was fortunate enough to perform the first-ever MAKO surgical procedure within the North-West of England.
